Quilts, and Quilting Services

This site was created as a way to share my quilting passion with others. The goal of Quilting Solider is to give people a place where they can request quilts for the hero in their lives.

It started out by me creating a military quilt with some old uniforms I had laying around from my husband's first deployment.  It has grown into quilted golf towels for the National Guard charity golf tournament. When making those towels I realized I really wanted to share my idea and so QuiltingSoilder was born. I would love to make a quilt for the hero in your life, or finish a top that you have lovingly pieced.

This site is filled with examples of some of the quilts I have made to celebrate a new baby, to honor loved ones who have passed, and to allow you to keep a piece of your service to our country without filling up your garage with old uniforms.

I plan to display what I am working on as well as use the blog to share my experience and get feedback from everyone.  I also hope to share some blogs and videos of other quilters whom I have learned from!  I am by no means an expert quilter but I feel that I have something to share and can learn from others!

Happy Quilting,

WHAT PEOPLE SAY

Mandy B.

I found a quilt in mother’s closet. Jennifer chose the back color. When I sent it to them, it was just the top, no batting or back. I’m going to get it back and keep it!!
